Mary Rechkemmer

Decatur-Mary Louise Rechkemmer, 67, of Decatur passed away at 10:00 p.m., Monday May 9, 2011 in Lincoln Manor Nursing Home, Decatur.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 14, 2011 at Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. till service time at the funeral home. Mary was born November 28, 1943 in Shelby County, IL the daughter of Lloyd and Ruby (Burrus) Jones.  She married John Burton.  She later married Hollis Rechkemmer in June 18, 1971.  Preceded her in death in 1973.  She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

Surviving is her children: Tammy Burton-Bennett and her husband David of Bonita Springs, FL, John Burton and his wife Diana of Springfield, IL, and J. Suzie Rechkemmer-Couch of Urbana, IL; mother: Ruby Jones-Kelly of Decatur; aunt Betty Boyd of Decatur; grandchildren: Joseph Couch, Ethan Couch, Mikhaila Couch, and Austin Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, father and two brothers.
